Preparation “It’s Worth It”

This is one of those days I am asking the Lord what to write! So there is no telling where this will end up. I am going to, “start walking and see where God takes me this morning.”

Today I am celebrating my 52nd birthday! It is hard to believe that I could be that old. I have really enjoyed my life, and I am a blessed man! I was blessed with a mom and dad that loved each other deeply, and they both loved the Lord! I married my childhood sweetheart and we have been married for 32 years! I have two beautiful girls that I adore. They are my heart. Thank you Lord for your daily blessings.

God has given me the opportunity to serve him in some form or fashion since I was 19 years old. He has blessed me with so many friendship and given me so many great memories! I could never repay Him!

But there are also regrets and times where I wish I had a mulligan! Have you ever had the case of the “What if’s?” They are in the books and there is no changing them now. Thank goodness for God’s grace.

Here is a random thought. If I have the privilege to live 75 years, 2/3rd of my life is gone! Wow! That means I have a lot to do before it’s time to go home. God has been doing a number on my heart these past couple of months, to say the least! I have received a word from the Lord and I wrote it down. But it has been hard for me to grasp and I had some serious doubt. I keep asking God how can this be? I don’t see it.

Leave it up to the God of the universe, to use a complete stranger to affirm what he has for me! 52 years of preparation was worth it. Everything in my life has happened for a reason and will be used for His glory. Thank you Lord for your promises and your calling. You are so good to me. I am ready.

If you are in Christ, Greatness lives inside of you! Look at your world through the lens of what the “I Am” can do! Stop dreaming small dreams and start leaning on the One that created the universe. We have the Holy Spirit living inside of us, so dream big. Make every second count!

Deuteronomy 6:4 says, “The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.”

Enjoy this journey and don’t forget to smile! Love y’all.
