The God of the Valley

No matter what the enemy is telling you this morning, Jesus Christ is the God of the mountains and the God of the valley! Lock that in to your memory bank and never forget it. Nobody likes the valleys of life but what I am finding out is, that is where the fruit is produced!

How did Jesus prepare to do His unbelievable works? Part of His training involved suffering. Think about it, because He suffered what we suffer, He is able to serve as a faithful high priest. He understands what we go through! God wants to take our sorrows to enlarge our hearts!

I love the story of Joseph. I want to encourage you to take the time and read Genesis 37-45. Joseph was betrayed by his brothers and sold into slavery. He was unjustly accused by Potiphar’s wife. He was thrown in jail and forgotten by all except for God. He faced some very difficult times. No matter what came Joseph way, good or bad, he faithfully served God! He was continually tested but he keep passing the test.

Finally, at just the right time, God brought His plan together for Joseph’s life and for His purpose. God uses EVERYTHING we go through for His glory, and to fulfill His purpose. I am not going to pretend to fully understand why we have to go through the valleys, but we need remain faithful and hold on to His promises! The Lord used Joseph to touch the lives of thousands and thousands of people.

As we remain faithful to Him during our trails, the character of Jesus Christ will emerge in our spirit, and He will be revealed to those around us. Stay faithful my friend!

The name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteousness runs into it and is safe.
