I Hear You Lord

I felt lead this morning to share my prayer I wrote to the Lord yesterday. I normally don’t do this but I felt a huge tug to do so! I am not sure why, but I need to be obedient! Not sure if it make sense but here you go.

The older I get, the more precious life becomes. Lord, I am trying to learn not to take life for granted and enjoy ever minute that I have here on earth. I can remember when I thought 52 was old! It is amazing how fast time goes by!

I don’t know how many more years I have to live but I still have some things I would love to do. I would love to walk my girls down an isle to the man of their dreams. I would love to hold my grandchild in my arms and possibly go to a few more ball games! I would love to spend another 30 years with my childhood sweetheart! But most of all, I want to be obedient to the call that You have given me. There is something burning in my heart and I want my life to count for You! I feel I am in the last third of my life and I want to use everything You have taught me from the first 2/3 ! I want to tell as many people as possible about Your amazing grace and love.

For so many years, I have labored, worked, and tried my best to serve you. Lord, I hear you saying this morning, “Now join Me. Partner with Me!” Because I know now it’s not about how hard I work, or how dedicated I can be. But it is about whose I am! I hear you loud and clear.

Whatever I have left, I give to you! Use me Lord. You have given me a mission that I can not accomplish on my own. You are calling me to a God sized task, something that is so much bigger than myself. I am putting everything in Your hands. I am partnering with You. Lord, guide my every step.

You have given me 1 Corinthians 2:9. It says, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him!” I have fell in the sea of God’s love and I am amazed!
