Good morning! It is Friday and what a blessing it is! I wanted to share 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 with you this morning. It says, “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it doesn’t boast, it is proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love doesn’t delight in evil but rejoices with truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.”
Today Laura and I celebrate 33 years of marriage! Wow, where does the time go? I married my high school sweetheart and it made me the happiest man on earth. It took me 2 years to chase her down but a pair of orange Sun Britches final won her over. She is my best friend, soulmate, sounding board, prayer partner, accountability partner, and she keeps me straight! Laura is faithful, trustworthy, and will stand by you through the thick and the thin. I cherish her relationship! I hold all the memories close to my heart, and just know I could tell you some funny stories. But I won’t, because I want to be married for another 33 years!
Laura, I just wanted to tell the world how much I love you! You have been a blessing from the Lord and I will never take it for granted. You have been my partner in ministry for a long time and the best is yet to come! I can’t wait to see what He has for us both! Thank you for all you do. Your mom would be so proud of the woman you have become. Love you!
