A Changed Life

Thanksgiving is closing in on us and Christmas is just around the corner! I love this time of year and I love being around family. I hate to admit it, but I have already watch a Christmas Hallmark movie with a cup of hot chocolate. There goes my man card!

Romans 6:1-4 says, “What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace May increase? By no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.” In Christ, we are a new creation and our old ways of life is over. We have a new identity and we are set free from the bondage of sin and death. And we become a child of the Living God. His ways become my ways, His passion become my passions. A new identity always result in a new activity! A changed heart equals a changed life. A legitimate faith is alive and it changes everything!

Don’t rest in your theology, or your church attendance, or even your good works. But place your faith in Jesus Christ and surrender your heart to the Lord. Jesus changes everything! There is power in a changed life.
